     On-Board Navigation:

    The 3 Series Coupe navigation system includes the current generation iDrive that includes an even more intuitive interface, with additional direct access hard keys and more evolved Programmable Memory Keys. It also adds multiple systems that can be tailored to owner preference.

    In addition, the navigation system replaces the previous DVD database with an onboard hard drive-based system. The redesign is not only significantly faster, but adds a huge 12 GB of onboard storage for music, voice memos or other personal data. As an added bonus, the iDrive system also allows owners to copy or "rip" music from the CD player to the Music Collection on the hard drive. The stunningly sharp high-resolution 8.8-inch display and completely revised interface makes both input and viewing much easier and more intuitive.

    Also included in the 3 Series navigation system are MyInfo and BMW Search, part of BMW Assist?. My Info allows owners to send phone numbers or destinations from a computer and download them into the navigation system, where they can be immediately accessed. BMW Search allows direct internet search access through Google. As in the past, the system also includes voice recognition, Real Time Traffic Information, on-board computer and a host of other features.
